[/quote] Well I guess you could provide either a birth certificate or passport of the grandparent or parent. In my case, it is my mom of Hispanic descent (son's grandmother), who is now deceased. Her death certificate shows her place of birth. I am prepared to prove it if necessary.[/quote]
