It’s not spin.  It’s the truth.  Taking away TPS leaves their US children without a parent.  Then the US children often end up on welfare.  As for “dropping a baby“. No words.  All the compassion of “dead eyes” Stephen Miller.[/quote]

So then we can never have a temporary program? Because the position you are taking seems to be that we can never end temporary relief to adults here if they have children here. If that’s the case, then the adults get to live and work in America on a permanent basis because they had children while they were here. And if that’s the case, this is not a temporary program at all, but a lifetime ticket to live in America.[/quote]

I'm immigrant, and had my children while living in the US on temp visa. It never occurred to me to use children as anchor, I kept all of their paper in order, they get citizenship of my home country in addition to US citizenship. I was prepare to move back if my plans to get permanent resident status would not pan out.
