I must live in a different universe, plenty of reviews not only on Amazon but also elsewhere nothing for their hair (but was as noisy) or that it made their thick or wavy hair frizzy and unmanageable.  So, what do specifically you like about it that is different from other hairdryers that cost hundreds less?[/quote]

I like that it dries my hair super fast and makes my hair much smoother than any other dryer I’ve ever used, even without using a styling product.  8 no longer need to use my hot iron/flat board to achieve the look that I want.  I use it the way the instructions suggest, which is not how I typically dried my hair before the Dyson.  You have to hold the dryer above you and have the air come down on your hair, you can’t flip you head over and dry it from underneath (does that make sense)?  I don’t find that it makes more noise than any other dryer.[/quote]
