When we lived in LA many years ago, my then 13-year old son had a very good school friend whose mother and father are both actors (primarily television) you would have heard of.  One day this 13-year old friend told us the story of having attended a recent industry event with his father, at which Mr. Spacey was present, and where KS gave him the once-over, prompting this boy's father to warn him to be careful because KS will hit on you.   When this boy told me the story in such a matter-of-fact way I was shocked, and though I have always liked KS as an actor, it definitely changed my perception of him.  So I was not surprised to hear Anthony Rapp's allegation.

I am truly disgusted by Mr. Spacey's use of this moment to come out.  At best it is a deflection tactic away from the accusation, or an effort to garner support from the LGBT community.  But I personally think that it is much worse  than that.  Kevin Spacey is no less than attempting an extortion of the LGBT community, particularly in Hollywood,    essentially warning that any attack againsthim  risks conflating and associating Hollywood's LGBT community with pedophilia.

This man is shameless in oh so many ways.[/quote]
