Because OP hasn't said what school system. What ACPS does may be (and probably is) vastly different from another school system in the area. I would be interested in seeing you provide some sort of validation of your references to the "ADA, the Rehab Act, and Virginia state law".[/quote] What do you mean by "validation?" Do you mean, what law? Try checking the statutes themselves. Then check the regulations of the Virginia DOE published in the VAC. Take a look at the case law from Federal courts as well, including the extensive briefing in the California Loma Portal case. A student has a right to use the bathroom in school and any teacher or admin that says no should be individually sued. [/quote]
