I haven't read the Federalist Papers, and [b]I've never read the Constitution start to finish[/b], but let me help out the PP a little: the electoral college is ideally supposed to be a failsafe against unfit candidates. Considering that Trump is experiencing dementia, suffers from enormous narcissism and god knows what other personality disorders, and conspired with Russia to fix the election, and that far, far fewer voters wanted him - and we knew all of this before he was installed - yeah. The Electoral College failed. We have an unfit swamp monster in office.[/quote]
Have you ever looked at the Constitution? It's very brief. You could read it in 20 minutes, tops.

Besides, you're making some bigtime assumptions. 1) We do not know that Trump is experiencing dementia. 2) As far as enormous narcissism and other personality disorders, no worse than Hillary. 3) No evidence he conspired with Russia to fix the election, and 4) the "far, far fewer voters" is meaningless. Your idiot candidate spent time in California, partying it up with George Clooney, instead of in swing states with the working class she was seen as ignoring. Cost her the election. [/quote]
