OP said her stepdaughter was now about 15th percentile for weight.   For a 12 year old that's about 75 pounds.  Already OP's stepdaughter would qualify for hospital admission.

I'm sorry to be blunt, but there's not really a lot of time to fool around with couples therapists  and getting DH on board here.  This child needs proper medical evaluation and she DID NOT GET IT from her pediatrician.[/quote]
