https://m.trulia.com/property/3050261808-1679-N-Poes-Rd-Flint-Hill-VA-22627

Rappahanock county (VA) has become popular --- know many wealthy families who have bought country homes in that area.
Ha ha ha. No
I'm actually one of the Vineyard/Jackson/Kiawah posters -- but I do know a couple of wealthy people who have big horse farms in Rappahannock County. They tend to live out there and keep a place in DC for when they don't want to make the drive.

GFC that is so tacky. None of the rich people I know would be caught dead in that house. It's what a Trumpster would imagine a "wealthy person's horse farm" would look like. Zero class, style, or grace.
I have no comments on that house in particular, but PP is right about that area having lots of country homes for the wealthy. It's not far from Middleburg, there are lots of wineries, etc. I wouldn't have limited it to that county (Fauquier county is right next to it and is quite popular) but the whole area has lots of large estates, most of them custom built and not on redfin. It is definitely the place to have a country home in Virginia.
