you record your Airbnb guests?  I think that's illegal.  It's one thing for you to record yourself when you are in the room or house and have invited a guest -- they have no expectation of privacy.  But an Airbnb guest has an expectation of privacy in the space that they have rented from you.  You would be equally creeped out by a hotel that was recording you in the hotel suite, yes?

The Airbnb terms of service explicitly require disclosure of surveillance in the ad or after booking (customers informed of surveillance after booking will be allowed to cancel without penalty).  Recording your Airbnb guests without their knowledge and consent is a crime.  I can't imagine you get very many bookings if you are disclosing the surveillance.  I certainly would never rent from such an owner.  [/quote]
