[/quote] Yes, this is why I hated that they totally rewrote her history in The Carrie Diaries by giving her a dad who was very present in her life as a teenager. I think a lot of her adult behavior IRT men & relationships can be traced back to her father abandoning her when she was a young child (a fact that is mentioned in the orginal series but erased in the prequel).[/quote]
