If it is a grade level equivalent score, take it with a grain of salt. If his F&P score is X or Y, that is excellent. However, I would caution against telling him and others how smart he is. You are setting him up to become a skilled procrastinator and it sounds like people are already trying to take you down a notch. Unless you are talking to your mom or having a very intimate conversation with your closest friend, I am not sure how this would come up. Keep private information to yourself.
