I'll disagree. 
My daughter just had drivers education in MD.  Her teacher was a woman that moved here from Africa and [b]the woman told the students that the left lane is not for faster drivers[/b].  They also cannot turn the wheel hand over hand- they must "scoot" the wheel to pass the test. [b]There were so many things this lady didn't know about--like the express lanes in VA[/b].  
I live in Silver Spring and drive to Baltimore daily for work.  These Maryland drivers are slow (I'm from the Midwest) I admit I speed.[/quote]
Actually, the left lane is NOT for fast drivers. It's to pass.
You think the express lanes are to drive fast?
