Even if it was cheating during a married relationship, no fault divorce is the common thing and you don't get taken to the cleaners because of it. On top of that, if the couple has split but is still legally married, in most jurisdictions whether someone is dating is totally irrelevant. In most places, the only time it can come up is if there are minor children involved AND someone has brought the kids into it. If you're dating on your own time and in your own space, it's irrelevant.[/quote]
