It will be classified as hate crime or not when they bring charges. 
And it can always be added to the charges or dropped.

You don't find it at all suspicios that she was attacked while leaving a Mosque? ?

And she is Muslim?  Her only mistake seems to be "walking while Muslim;" and if Islamaphobia wasn't the killer's motivation, then what was the motive?  Killers don't just kill for no reason.[/quote]
