What's interesting is that Carole was not up Bethenney's butt until midway through the first season that B returned. Before the Turks trip, Carole and Bethenney were getting along, sure, but they weren't joined at the hip.

The turning point was when all that "Be Cool/Girl Code" stuff went down, and then Carole and LuAnn got in a fight, and Carole "retaliated" by getting close to B and snarking on everyone, and LuAnn got closer to Ramona and to Dorinda and even Sonja. It was all kind of weird.

A lot of the B/Carole as "mean girls" stuff also happened when Jules was new. Now that she's not around, they seemed to have calmed down a bit.[/quote]

I thought Carole's friendship with Heather was much more mature and equal.  I enjoyed watching that.[/quote]
