Fairly little has to do with the school, most of it is the person. Especially in undergrad. My BFF works in academia and the professors at top schools are mostly crap professors. They write successful papers because that's all the school cares about, but they don't give a lick about teaching and mostly their TAs do it. It's a total waste unless your kid is a consummate starf*cker and can really make the most of it. [/quote]
