I don't have any problem with solo vacation - I love to do it because no one WANTS ANYTHING FROM ME!  I love my husband but if he's along I'm thinking of his needs as well as mine.  Maybe when I don't have children at home - I"ll feel differently.  I do like to vacation with him but I LOVE to vacation by myself with friends.  I can do whatever I want.  It's very nice!!

Secondly, I have traveled solo in Thailand - and met lots of others who were as well - none of them were there for the sex trade.  Then again - I was younger - early thirties.  There were quite a few skanky men hanging out in the bars...ugh.  But, Thailand has great beaches, great architecture in some of the old capitol cities, fun trekking and great food.  [/quote]
