Many of them use assumed social security numbers, et cetera - and as with any payroll, taxes on their wages are withheld and sent to state and federal treasury, SS et cetera, but at the same time, they are INELIGIBLE to receive a lot of benefits that regular Americans get.   They do in fact pay quite a bit in, rather than soaking everything up.[/quote]

Yup. One of them "assumed" my sisters SSN. She was on disability from a serious car wreck, and when the income was reported using her STOLEN SSN it was stopped.  Three years later, it's still not fixed.

Identity theft is a serious problem.  Using someone else's SSN Is a big problem.  It's not a benefit.[/quote]
