I don't think he's an aloof loner -- I think he's very friendly and personable -- just look at how people flock to him. But I do agree that both Michelle and Hillary [b]were strivers determined to hitch their wagon to a rising star and it worked out for both of them.[/quote][/b]

What does this even mean? Are you suggesting that Michelle had a million suitors and picked Barack because he was a rising star? She went for the guy who paid attention to her and who was nice. Isn't that what most women do?

Michelle is lucky to a certain extent. But by the looks of it, she is a darn good wife. She could have been happy with a regular HLS lawyer who loved her the way Barack does. Fortunately for her, she gets the love, and money and fame.
