None of the "homework is inappropriate for young kids" posters are arguing that parents shouldn't do anything with their children. [/quote] My kid gets the dumbest homework and none of it relates to anything done in the classroom or the curriculum. Its an absolute waste of time but we always do it as its homework. I'd much prefer to skip it and do our own thing but I am not undermining the teacher by making assignments negociable.[/quote]
