I can't even imagine how long it would take me to search on "husband beats you" or something similar that would allow me to find those threads that contain those comments from October. But it's more time than I have. That was not the title of the thread.

I didn't weigh in one way or the other because I hadn't heard this anywhere but on DCUM, so I'll reserve my condemnation until I have all the facts. But what human being would defend a wife beater? Of course I wouldn't. My point was only that, if true, nobody should be surprised because through this forum, it's come to my attention that (at least some) Democrats assume Republican men are wife beaters and their wives allow it. And you have dismissed that as false and called me a liar. So much for believing a woman's claims unless they're able to provide the proof you need to be able to do so. [/quote]
