I mean, I totally agree, but it sounded like she did usually get the child up even when she didn’t work because the child mentioned that. As a mother, I can definitely understand an opportunity to sleep in. But also, I can understand that if she usually got up, it was a bit risky to think that she definitely would stay in there or at least not go looking for her phone if she wanted to send a last minute text to the au pair so she could go back to sleep soundly, etc. But with it turned off and in a drawer that I assume she didn’t usually use, it would have taken awhile to find it imo. So maybe he figured being in the house was good enough.

Also, due to manner that Christine was killed, which would not have been easy to pull off without risking potentially suspicious injuries such as cuts on his hands. So I get why people have speculated about drugs. It seems like Juliana has been open enough at this point that she would have mentioned that detail though.

This did make me remember that the detective going through the scene photos mentioned that the laptop was open on the kitchen island from the pictures that day. Which is interesting. Hopefully that can also support that Christine was not the one communicating with Joe. [/quote]
