I just find the fact that Russia lost 300k men and has thousands of violent criminals back in society committing more crimes against Russians humorous. The fact that 1m educated males fled just leaves the dumb barbarians to get wiped out. It’s like Russia developed the “easy button” to destroy itself and pushed it. The west just gets to enjoy the show.
I keep wondering where this 300K number comes from, but then it struck me that they simply taking the Ukrainian casualties and attributing them to Russia. For example: Note that the date is in "metric"
Note that your wartears site has been exposed as not only fake disinformation, but also a Russian phishing op. https://news.yahoo.com/pentagon-names-websites-created-russians-074623967.html
Your linked article doesn't dispute the accuracy of the counts, only warns that Russia is using the data for nefarious purposes. But if you have a better source of Ukrianian loses, feel free to share it.
LOL the whole thing is a scam. So, of course the numbers are untrustworthy.
What's a trustworthy count for Ukrainian KIA then?
There isn't one. At the beginning of the war, the Ukrainians were doing body counts to count Russian dead. But as anyone who's followed things, that's not particularly accurate. There are tens of thousands of Russians who have turned into fertilizer who are unaccounted for. The US allegedly gave them a better way to count dead. And theoretically, they are following that. I've been nerding on this. I think 300,000 total casualties is pretty accurate for total Russian losses. And given how bad battlefield medicine is for Russians - and how difficult things are on the battlefield, you can't airlift anyone - it's probably a 1-1 ratio at his point. So 150,000 dead Russians. 150,000 severely injured ones. And those are the extremely lucky ones. The estimated survival rate for Russian soldiers at 11 months in Ukraine is 4 percent. Basically, the only way out is to get hurt. But of course it's not going to be much better for Ukrainians. This has been a disaster for both countries. Men between the ages of 18-40 are going to be pretty non-existent in both countries.
