Yup. This is wash, rinse and repeat with MCPS. Problems are flagged to MCPS admin and leadership and they're ignored until it's too late.

What should MCPS do about the vast majority of bullying that happens outside of school on social media?  Should we be able to suspend a kid for having a group text on a Saturday that some kids might find to be disrespectful and bullying?[/quote]

I never said suspension was the solution I was looking for. But there are a number of solutions I can think of.

You should probably quit your job. You're not equipped to engage with families and you have a troubling relationship with facts and a strong insistence of dismissing and diminishing parent experience.

So many parents have said they have raised bullying concerns with admin and they've been ignored. And yet your conclusion is that the problem lies SOLELY with parents and not the system?
