Did you read the OP? That’s the entire topic of this thread. If by antizionism you mean criticism of the Israeli government then no, it’s not antisemitic on its own (but could be motivated by antisemitism). If by antizionism you mean thinking the state of Israel should be dismantled then yeah, that’s very probably antisemitic.

You keep hijacking threads to talk about this alleged bullying incident at your child’s school. I have a really hard time believing your kid was branded an antisemite simply for criticizing the Israeli government, but idk maybe. Kids are dumb and cruel sometimes. That  doesn’t justify your insane persecution complex. You seem to think the Jews are out to get you and ruin your life if you so much as breathe a word about Israel and uhhh……look around you ma’am. Anti-Israel sentiment is incredibly pervasive. People don’t seem AT ALL afraid to be very very open about it.[/quote]
Yes, unfortunately it is true my DC is seen by the jewish community as being antisemitic and the Jewish americans I am acquainted with are not open and engaging as far as any inquiries regarding their country. It’s very off putting. [/quote]

They consider Israel their homeland and have made this clear. Israel is as much their home as the US and share this with others. Is that wrong to refer to it as their country? Should I frame it as their ‘other country’ ‘their homeland’ which is acceptable?[/quote]

I live in a town that’s around 33% Jewish American, we have orthodox, hasidic, conservative, the whole spectrum here. It appears that any nonjew who broaches the topic of Isreal is immediately shut down or branded an antisemite for saying something deemed offensive.[/quote]

Yes so many others are controlled by Jews!

It seems to me that any place where Jews are more than a tiny minority people start believing that they are being controlled by Jews. A relative of mine sends his kids to a New York rich suburban school and told me openly he believes that Jews dominate and control the school. When I pointed out that the actual numbers show Jews a minority there he still would not back down.

What a cop out. I actually have a story about my own kid with autism being subjected to an unfair accusation of racial bias in elementary school. It was absurd, discriminatory based on his disability, and a total overreaction. What did I do? I gave an earful to the people supposedly “investigating” and that was that. what did I NOT do? assume, based on that one incident, that all black people are lying and exaggerating about racism.
