That’s not what lobby alcohol is. Posters are inferring that the hotel literally leaves out alcohol in the lobby for guests to take and that is why the group was so drunk at 4am (which would be well after the hotel bars would have closed). AI have bars that usually close anywhere between 12-2am. I’ve stayed at a few in DR and never have I known of the hotel to just take some liquor and leave it out for whoever to grab in the middle of the night.

They could have had alcohol in their room, either provided by the hotel OR they could have purchased it off site and brought it in. They may have gone to a club or another hotel to party and come back. We don’t know. [/quote]
