How did a HS grad with no particular skills or connections land this very safe posting? Just total luck of the draw? Or do the marines save those spots for the ones who aren’t as physically fit? I’m not surprised he did well in the role of PR, but very surprised they were assigning a young fresh recruit to this role (when it seems like a good place to put folks who need a break from deployment or are pregnant or with minor service related disabilities).
