There are nuances in state law that make it more appropriate to charge false electors and those who conspired with state crimes. Of course there is no double jeopardy between state and fed. Some of the charges could go federal so they can be indicted there too. Not instead. Didn’t the false electors defraud the people of the United States and obstruct our civil rights? Meadows should tread really carefully here. [/quote]
