Neither one of them had the best time of their lives in college.  They had a very good time, though, and made good friends.  The time of their lives came after college, when they traveled a lot then got good jobs and met and married great spouses.

There aren’t that many people for whom spending twice as much for college than they need to is doable at the wink of an eye.  For those people - whatever.  Have at it.  But for the merely average rich among us, succumbing to the college arms race at such a ridiculous expense is insane.  [/quote]
