[/quote] Assuming they are still willing to service the debt, that makes their cuts mathematically possible only if they zero out every other line item. Defense + VA is 22%. Social security is 25%, Medicare is 14%, and interest is 7%. That 68% is untouchable according to McCarthy. He's 22% cuts would have to come from only 32% of the budget which means zeroing out a lot of what's left [/quote]
