I'm not a big fan of recalls over decisions required by the role, even if you don't like the decision. Elected for a reason, stick it out until the next season absent somethign serious, like abuse of power or crime. Otherwise, we waste a ton of money, time, and effort to undermine the election system every time a person makes a tough call you don't like.[/quote]

I agree with you - in most cases - -  if you dont like a politician's decision, it should not trigger a recall.  The difference here is she did nothing to put our kids back in classes; she renewed the superintendent's contract last year (dont get me going on him); and she delivered a meaningless boundary change.  When you get to her level of incompetence, you need to be fired - so I fully support her recall in this instance.  [b]And Im embarrassed to say that I actually voted for her![/b] [/quote]
