Questioning why someone stays with someone who tried to bully children into suicide is not being as bad as Christy Teigan.
I do not think her end goal was ever to actually have someone kill themselves. This is just my opinion, I don't know what's in her heart. But in the mob mentality of the internet and mean girl bonding they say really horrible things. I never said that to anyone, and can't imagine doing so, but I do know people that were absolutely horrible in HS/their twenties who grew up. At the end of the day, what she did then is go after people she didn't know and wish horrible things on them. And what you are doing is going after someone you don't know and wishing horrible things on them. Potato, potahto.
I’m PP and I’m not wishing anything on Teigan, I’m looking at Legend and his brand and values at this point.
His values of being married, faithful, having kids and standing by his wife during different times? Yeah those are some f*cked up values.
You think staying with and enabling a child abuser promotes values? Yikes!
Omg why hasn’t she been charged with child abuse?! Yikes! She’s out here abusing kids and not getting charged?!
I don’t know. But, if she is charged, there should be a line, and Stodden’s husband and her parents, who seem to have encouraged her relationship with someone old enough to be her grandfather should be charged first. What Teigen did was despicable, but if her despicable behavior is “child abuse” then so was her marriage and any courtship and encouragement that led to her relationship with her then husband.
