As a parent of a kid who wants to play in college, the arguments you speak of above do nothing to sway me against either of these options. Unfortunately, this is true (at least for ANY good D1 school with a reputable soccer program). Pick your poison! All of the ECNL and DA teams are constantly trashed on this forum, so it's defeating since we don't have time to siphon through the fact from fiction. Is Metro United any good? Will FCV move their club to Springfield? Is BRYC really that bad of a club?

People need confirmation of their choice. So they'll either bash another program to raise theirs or they will just brag about their program. The reality is, if your kid is good and wants to play in college all of the clubs can get you there. Everything else is just club self serving noise. [/quote]
