Anyhow, it is not hard and takes little effort to put up a decent site, Facebook / Instagram page, and get these setup for effective search hits on Google. It is a competitive market so focusing on this only helps one’s business. I have nothing against MU and actually like the coaches I’ve seen in action (George, Tom, Holly). I just find their business approach disappointing. This was the reason we decided to stop having our kid attend practices and ID sessions. Too much uncertainty and no clear vision on attracting better players. I hope they realize this is probably how many players and parents feel. You can’t arrogantly think things will happen by magic. You have to hustle and work hard to succeed. I don’t see this hustle. Just my opinion, and yes I may be wrong. [/quote]

You're right, but a big part of making a decision on where to play for the recruiting years depends on the club and team having an upward trajectory, or at least a level one for an established club.  Most of these posts are relative to the fact that MU, externally at least, makes no appearance at being a quality operation at present. In this crowded market, clubs have to do pretty much everything right to gain ground. This year is fairly critical for MU to establish some credibility. Much of needs to be from performance on the field, but there is an element to their external presence that has a bearing on their ability to take another step forward. You sound like an MU parent, tell me you don't want the club to present more competence externally.[/quote]

Spirit/MU placed 100% of the current class in college.  The coaching staff is top notch.  Photo ops posted on Facebook and Instagram mean nothing to me. [/quote]

Top notch? Come on. If you’re in the da or ecnl, getting in a college team is kind of a given for that kids that want to play in college. If they were top notch, they’d be coaching elsewhere and would have at least a single team in the playoffs.[/quote]
