Meanwhile, in lieu of bloviation, the IDF is actually doing something to eliminate the threat.  Yes, war is messy.  You don't want the mess, don't start a war, something the Palestinians  do over and over again, somehow thinking that "this time" the end result will be different.  Predictably, they just make their situation worse.  Their fighters are eliminated or rendered impotent by being jailed, their foreign aid is used to try to sustain a pointless military capability, and their civilians continue to suffer.  The children who do survive are indoctrinated to believe that their best and highest purpose is to try to eliminate a neighboring state, instead of to trying to make things better for themselves and their families by working towards a peaceful future instead of nurturing old tribal grievances which date from long before they were born. Violence begets violence, a simple concept which is evidently  acceptable to them.  That being so, they are getting what they incite.
