Not PP and not sure about the first statement.

But here's the bill proposed by Republicans to give benefits to US citizens who served in the IDF:

GOP and Dem politicians have no choice but to support the IDF without regard for fair and balanced policy due to the amount of money donated to their campaigns from strong supporters of Israel. That's how American politics work while under the rule of these awful two major parties. Influence can be bought. [/quote]
