[/quote] My kid recently spent some time training and playing in friendlies against regional Catalan teams, including one that plays in the same group as Barcelona A team for his age. 95%+ of the matches those teams play are within the region. They compete in national and international tournaments, but those are the exception rather than the rule. When a kid needs to travel from Houston to Denver to play a league match… that’s when you know insanity has hit an all time high.[/quote]
