EMS would be more appropriate for rescue operations.

I just watched the videos. In the car fire one there was a useless paramedic on scene that looked lost. Maybe it was his first day on the job. I’m guessing he’s a paper paramedic working for a volunteer fire department. There is no way that guy is career EMS and he surely hasn’t run many calls. The civilians did a spectacular job. If the cop wasn’t there that woman would have died.

In the second video there were no EMS personnel anywhere in sight. Again, the civilians rocked. They even cut the seatbelt to speed up the extraction. If the motorcycle cop wasn’t there that patient likely dies. Most people that require CPR die.

As for your dumb comment about cops bullying EMS, I’d love to know your credentials. How do you know that the bike cop wasn’t a 68W with 1000x more experience than an EMT-B? There’s a lot of volunteer EMS in the U.S. The standard of care in the volunteer world can be subpar.[/quote]

You sound unstable in a mental way. Do they not even try to screen for mental health issues in hiring anymore? I mean everyone knows police are chosen by their I.Q., and it has to be below a certain threshold. Yes, below. Shocking right? But do they even attempt to screen for mental issues also? PTSD seems to be common these days. [/quote]
