Ukrainians on the thread - take heart. Now even the Ultranationalists are starting to understand their time is limited. Solovyov had to cut his losses recently by firing Satanovsky (which weakens his status). Yevgeny Satanovsky: “For our country, “hour X”, the possibility of collapse, will be somewhere in the 30s. Because Putin is not eternal – he is aging. As always, strong leaders take on the weak, and Putin is very strong from the point of view of retaining power , although, this is a separate topic – what I think about how he runs the country, and how he selects personnel. Well, it means that from these personnel he will put some small, weak crap in his place. Look, Medvedev was an example,” https://ukrainetoday.org/2023/10/22/putin-is-an-old-man-and-medvedev-is-shit-ex-propagandist-solovyov-predicted-the-collapse-of-russia-video/ This means his prediction is somewhere between 6 to 15 years out, based upon Putin's eventual old age as the catalyst. I think a more powerful catalyst as a combination of (a) 18-39 males dying in Ukraine, (b) the Russian economy, and (c) the very low population of Russians (especially ethnic Russians) per sq/km. For the economic analysis, I think this guy didn't hit all the high-points, but has a good bead on issues facing the Russian economy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84zVOVIm_rA Solovyov is the warm blanket of anger, the boiler pilot light who re-lights the Ukraine War fervor, but it looks like Solovyov's days are numbered. He's just making too many mistakes lately (announcing Russia is pro-Israel on national Russian TV, his crony shooting off his mouth probably reflecting Solovyov's thoughts, etc.). The tricky part will be how the Kremlin maneuvers Solovyov off air without him making a fuss and turning public opinion against the Kremlin? For example, this type of glowing birthday roast on National TV is what you do when you're trying to put a dangerous bull out to pasture (so he can die a Hero of the Motherland): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zf0K-HZcmk If Solovyov is sidelined by December, thinking someone like Evil Betty-Boop (Yulia Vityazeva) may be a candidate to fill his slot? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUcRmBJlT_g
