word has it that Giblin has re applied for the Prep lacrosse opening.
What made it toxic between Giblin and the administration is still in place. While it would not shock me if Prep decide again to sell it's soul for a top lacrosse team, it would shock me if the delivery was I bring the Giblin volatility back to town. The bottom line is he pushes for absolutes over administrators. I'm sure he'd love to return and do things his way or highway again, but I'm guessing the administration just can't bear that again.
More misrepresentations and lies. Now some drama as in "sell it's soul" to bring back a coach who worked there for 26 years and coached hundreds of boys. He's got more friends and supporters than the nameless administrators. "His way" was to produce a winning, Nationally-ranked program that resulted in scores of kids getting into schools they would not have without GP Lax. Their way produces a 4th place IAC team and 10 goals losses with the largest student body in the IAC. Now they are sitting there with a lot of egg on their faces. They are no doubt hiding in the wells of their desks hoping no one will remember what they said or what they said would happen. I can imagine the Gonzaga people are hoping it doesn't happen. Their program could shrivel and die in two years if it did.
