It was funny during the reunion, Brandi was arguing with Eileen and saying all the women "brought something" to the show except for Eileen, and Eileen responded, "Well, what is it YOU bring, Brandi?"  Brandi kind of faltered and then replied, "I don't know - conflict, I guess." [b] Pathetic that she thinks that's her role to play[/b].  [/quote]

But could also explain why she does it.

I initially LOVED Brandi, so much so that I bought her book (the first one). Then, last season she lost me and I absolutely can't stand her anymore. However,[b] I watched her on The Celebrity Apprentice this season and she was completely different than on RHOBH - likable, in fact.[/b] Maybe the other ladies bring out the "best" in her - or maybe she just feels that she needs to play the villain on RHOBH.

I do know she is a textbook "cut off my nose to spite my face" case and she plays defense to prevent other people from hurting her or dismissing her first. Since she has already been rejected by all but Yolanda, I think we are seeing an animal backed into a corner with Brandi at all times.

I 100% disagree.  She was the same defensive person, only hearing what she wants to hear.  You could tell her the ABC's, and she'd leave out 2/3rd of them when repeating it back.  She leaves just enough of the story in there to make it seem true, but it completely distorts the meaning.  She does it on RH and she did it on the apprentice.  She just curbed her language and attitude a little more on the apprentice, probably because she was intimidated by the other strong personalities. [/quote]
