I’m curious what are your thoughts about Donald Trump saying at a campaign event about Liz Cheney, “ Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let’s see how she feels about it ... when the guns are trained on her face.” Or his “funny” birthday note to Epstein about what they have “in common”written on a sketch of a girls body. I’m not sure why you’re not raising hell about the many, many public statements made by Trump inciting violence. Sure. He was saying she wouldn’t be such a war hawk if she had to go to war herself and deal with what our soldiers deal with. But I suspect either you know that but the cherry picked excerpt sounds words (unlike Jay Jones), or you’re too lazy to find the truth (which is more likely). [/quote]

You don’t need to take it out of context. Just take it in context. He’s not calling on her to be shot. He said she wouldn’t like it and wouldn’t be so eager to go to war if she was faced with what our troops were. Geez, the dems used to be against war. But I guess if Trump is against war, you must be for it. [/quote]

You’re missing the point he doesn’t have to say “go shoot Liz Cheney” for his rhetoric to be dangerous. His choices of words encourage violence and his actions encourage violence, over and over. Trying to claim that he’s not encouraging violence because the awful things he’s saying are out of context is ridiculous. [/quote]
