Certainly in a conversation about common sense gun policy, many people would wonder what it would take to convince Rs to protect our kids. If Sandy Hook or any of the hundreds of other school shootings don’t do it, what would? Anything?

He may have assumed she was a decent person who wouldn’t take his texts out of context to try to torpedo his campaign. But she’s a Republican. He should have known better. They are unethical POSs.
