It was crazy popular with college kids and 20-somethings, so I strongly disagree with your assessment. Seinfeld was meh to me. I still watch Friends as background noise frequently. My teen watches Friends with me and likes it. I get that it doesn’t appeal to everyone and that their are problematic parts, but it was wildly popular with GenX as it aired.[/quote]
