Dems brought them in and now they're complaining it's too expensive to deport them...
+ a million The irony is so thick.
and they are still confused why the rest of the country doesn't want millions of low wage workers desperate for jobs.
It’s also insulting to the illegal immigrants that the Dems want them to work for dirt cheap, illegal under the table cash to do the “demeaning” “hard labor” jobs they claim “Americans won’t do”. So the Dems want Illegals as a modern day SLAVE force to live in the shadows of society so they can keep good cheap goods? This actually sounds very racist and elitist of the Dems now doesn’t it? Wait, I thought Dems were the morally superior party”? *snark*
In 2008, Senators Obama and Clinton ran on closing the border and creating a fence or a wall. President Bush was largely seen as the amnesty president unconcerned about securing the border and supportive of illegals immigration Illegal immigration used to be something the left rallied against because it hurt American national security and American workers / jobs
Correct. During my immigration law class in law school, we learned many groups on the left traditionally opposed illegal immigration and, not surprisingly, supported senators Clinton and Obama. Those groups included: - labor unions - the NAACP - the Sierra Club The first two groups viewed illegals as taking the jobs their constituents deserved. The Sierra Club viewed population growth as damaging the environment of the USA. Someone on the left later “flipped the script,” and decided democrats should now support unfettered illegal immigration, that “no human being is illegal,” and the preposterous idea: - international borders are racist Who is doing this? Where are these ideas coming from ??
