The kids still see each other because they still attend the same school. They also can follow each other on social media.

Kids are not an excuse to meet up in public. Ben and J Lo are addicted to this drama. Why couldn’t they Uber eats some food or hire a chef for an at home dinner? It is odd to meet up in such a public place.  New York Post says they were working out details about the divorce. Maybe it is easier to meet up and talk than filter everything through an attorney.  Maybe they want to put out a narrative about how amicable they are?  I would think you would go out of your way to avoid the person that you are divorcing, but maybe a happy picture matters for them image-wise.[/quote]

She filed without an attorney. I think Jennifer wants to drag this out because she really thinks she can win him over by using the kids and getting them on her side. I think she’s desperate and would do anything for Ben-even paying Violet’s Yale tuition. The desperation she has is more to do with ego  and saving face rather than true love at this point. Violet tagged along all summer in the Hamptons with Jennifer. She’s disgusting. She will soon invite Violet and her college friends over. She’s not leaving Ben’s life this time.
