Yes, bc they presumably didn’t introduce the kids immediately when they began dating again…so it really wasn’t a few years. They were traveling as a couple for much of their early dating and they didn’t move in together immediately. Presumably Ben’s kids spent the bulk of their time with garner.

The kids aren’t separated. Three of the five kids  attend the same high school,
Formerly four of the five kids.  
Violet’s 18 and  just started college. She was close with J Lo all summer.

The kids are not an excuse here. They are old enough to contact their ex step siblings via social media or cell phone. I’m sure all their kids have phones. [/quote]
