A little. Fox News and other radical outlets provide a warped view of reality. But I think even more of them just assert falsehoods confidently, hoping that they can kind of bully others into doubting themselves. [/quote]

It’s crazy! I was reading this thread last night having ptsd from the debate and when I actually listened to the interview I felt it went fine. Both the interviewer and the candidates were in pretty standard form, imo. I don’t get the histrionics.[/quote]

For my part, I'm probably tougher on media outlets because I think their insistence on interviews is entirely self-serving -- even as they frame it as "what the people want and democracy deserves" or high minded characterizations like that. The reality is that they want a product to sell. So, when the big moment comes and they have an opportunity to ask questions in service of democracy and the people ... we get variations on limp Republican attack lines, it makes me mad that they wasted everyone's time by making such a fuss.
