It doesn't sound fair to me. Bangladesh is also bigger than Dhaka. I don't think living in Dhaka and having more money makes people typical thinking. His city is also not rural. There are nice larger apartments around. I wonder what you think of the Rickshaw drives here. So much of this post has been about determining his social class. Who cares what social class he's in?
