The FBI leaving is a good thing so DC can develop that entire block into a mixed use building with housing. The problem is DC will require 30% of the housing to be for low income people. That’s not going to revitalize downtown. People with money is always the demographic to lure anywhere to revitalize an area.[/quote]

Let some other jurisdiction build more affordable housing for a change.  Seriously.  Even if DC continued to provide more and more affordable housing, vouchers, etc. (including for recent arrivals), do you think that housing is the entirety of the deal?  The likelihood is that residents will require an entire array of services, which will be the responsibility of the District government.  [/quote]
